Which pet is cooler?

I generally have 2 main options but if you like a specific pet please mention it
^ ^ I can either choose: Raven / Jingle Bear. They will be used NOT as tanks but as dmg dealers, thus becoming Dire. Which do u recommend?

I went for the Mountain Eagle. I as a ranger like to have a tank in front, so i made him Hearty.

Personally, I think the flying birds -- raven, eagle, etc. -- look a little lame as they sort of flutter along the ground like a quail momma pretending to have a busted wing to lead a predator away from the nest. Just MHO. :)

If you want something really cool, go for a White Moa. A leveled-up Dire White Moa is huge and should put the fear of the gods into the baddies when they see it coming.

I like the rainbow pheonix as my choice. From your two choices, I choose jingle bear becuase they are cool and it's a freaking BEAR period.

My ranger has the gay bird.. I mean the rainbow phoenix. It's way too large though. I kinda miss the melandru's stalker from old ascalon. I think I might have a bbq wing party then go tame a stalker.

You can join the party of someone with the Jingle Bear available if you did not do the quests. If the party leader has them complete, you may charm one. Same thing works with the Black Moa.

I don't like pets, but if I were to choose, I'd pick Raven solely based on the inability to death level the Jingle Bear while I'm away. Charm the hippo (http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Pygmy_Hippopotamus)!

Black Bear is the coolest hands down - only if for nothing more than having noobs in Pre think you have uber powerz when they see you with one: "What, dude those are impossible to get I tried for *** hours!!!! waaaa... blubber blubber sobb sobb 'hic"

One of my Ranger heroes has the White Moa. Great thing about that pet is you can see where it is, usually.

But my Ranger will never give up his Melandru's Stalker. When Prophecies first came out I tamed that stalker in Pre and it has been with me through all the rest of the game. Silly maybe, but I'm sort of fond of the guy.

wolves are inherently cool and black wolves are like wolves + black dye

I tamed a Stalker in Pre and 10mill+ Exp and 3 years later I still have that one and only pet. Only one I've ever had and only one I ever plan on having.

Fur Ball and I have alot of history together.

Bewtween the raven and the bear, I would say the raven. But for me, my ranger's dune lizard is irreplaceable. I've had it not long after my ranger was created, and have never wanted to swap him for anything else

It has been many years since I last had the chance to log on, but the melandru's stalker is the best all around. A hearty, Dire, or Elder are the preferrable attributes and they work good as both tanks and dmg dealers, with the right build of course.

The wolf, any of them, comes in 2nd

Then the Moa birds....the rest are just there to bluff or look pretty, not too effective.

like Upier i also had a crane pre reskin, after it just looked ugly and i replaced him but got another now i missed it xD

i have a black moa.and i love it.a bit hard to cap(with special thanks to hencies and the mobs around the black moa).but it's worth it.and u can display it in the hom.which is makes it even nicer:D
