Nope, seems to me its the same either way. There are "0" Ranger preperations in the game tied to no attribute.

It is a bow prep It does not effect anything to leave it in marks, same effect 0 marks as 16 marks.
I see what you mean "proper" it's no attribute now to effect it. But I also see no effect to moving it or reason to bother. Good eye though

pointless thread is pointless? it doesn't make a difference there are already many skills that could be treated as no attribute that are in a skill line. [song of concentration] for example doesn't at all scale and things like [hammer bash] and [disrupting accuracy] don't scale but are at least relevant to their skill line like rtw is to marksmanship.

It still has to be in marksmanship for PvE. Unneccasery extra coding.

It does highlight how sloppy the skill balance was though. Skills tied to an attribute meaninglessly are broken imo.

It's okay on marksmanship since you gotta run it with a bow anyway ... it's not like you gonna run it with dagger's, now is it?

[Disrupting accuracy] Has a 24% hance in general, if you have 16 to marksmanship, to interrupt an enemy skill
