Hey guys, its me Kagome!~ I was wondering if Expert's Dexterity was a good skill and what build I should use it on? I love the icon and I want a unique Ranger build so... yeah. :3

[[Expert's Dexterity] is generally not used anymore. [[Flail] has replaced it in PvP and single target spikes are not effective in PvE.

Because you're compressing your bar to having 1 skill to do damage, 1 to maintain energy, and 4+ to heal / prot. With rangers, you lack that utility.

The only place I've used it in PvE was against Abaddon. No real mobs there, so you can focus on single-target damage against Abaddon. Since Abaddon never uses skills when it's vulnerable, Sloth's conditional damage will always trigger.

Discordway isn't really a spike. Just lots of damage to single targets, sometimes in rapid succession.

And no there is damage coming from the minion attacks, hexes such as putrid bile and barbs, and poison nova.

I wouldn't exactly call it a spike since it's not trying to kill something faster than something else can react. It's more of spamming [[Discord (PvE)] for armor ignoring damage. With the 2 second recharge and all that spamming, it's more of a fast paced pressure than a spike.

Rangers have a lot of utility through interrupts and blocking stance, but that's going a bit off topic. If you're using Discordway with a Ranger, you wouldn't be using a generic Ranger build. You would be using an Assassin's Promise build instead so that you can spam with the Necroes.

A generic Ranger build that hits physcially would be better off with Sabway.
