Tormented Bow help?

I'm trying to decide which type of bow to get. I'm mainly a PvE person with the occasional PvP and I plan on dedicating it so I need to be positive I get the right type. I'm basically split between the longbow and the recurve bow. I don't like flatbows' arc and I usually don't like to bother with a spirit, shortbows are just meh to me, and hornbows are only really useful for spiking, which I generally don't do. So I'm looking for a utility bow in either the recurve or longbow, and I ask you: which do you think would better suit my playing type? And if you're like me, which type did you get?

I would say recurve bow.

I generally use a recurve in PvE, PvP has many different uses, but recurves are good for the highest hit percentage or if using incendiary or Rupts. I usually prefer a flatbow to a longbow though.

Recurve for general use.

Personally, I just use longbows to pull... or rarely when using some particular build where the short flight time offered by a recurve wouldn't matter (BHA, for example).

recurve is the most used bow in pvp, although sometimes flatbows are better in some situations.
as for pve you can play with w/e equipt and it wont make a difference.

Recurve because of the smallest flight time.
Flatbow if you're using Read the Wind, but other than that, use the recurve bow.

I'd do a recurve bow, but get a regular longbow for pulling =)
