hi i'm making a new ranger but what melee secondary should i use? i just wanna get through the PvE story and be able to do PvP so which secondary proffesion would work teh best? (i dont know whether or not a melee secondary is good for a ranger but im playing it for the experience :p)
would a secondary warrior be ok?

Could be warrior but I prefer Rt for example you can use [Barrage] + [Splinter Weapon]

What campaign are you starting from?

I usually run R/W just for [["Save Yourselves!"], sometimes with [[For Great Justice!] to improve adren gain. Otherwise, if I didn't have SY!, I wouldn't be using any secondary skills. R/W is a popular choice for PvP turrets though, but you'd need Nightfall for some key skills.

Ele is good as a secondary, weapon spells with elemental damage dealing bow strings, fiery, ice etc

Yep, though you don't see many rangers running around spamming spirits, the binding rituals are affected by Expertise and thus cost less energy on a ranger. ;)

Rt for Splinter
Mo for Mending Touch
W for Flail or Thumper Build
E for Conjure
D for Ebon Dust or Scythe Build
Me for BHA Epidemic
N for Toucher, Rend Enchantment
P for HaO, RaO Spear
A for Escape Ranger with Daggers

You can always change your secondary.
