GURU glitch ?

I just posted a quick reply.
I got this auto-response:
"This forum requires that you wait 30 seconds between posts. Please try again in 18 seconds."

That is strange, as my last post was at least 6 months ago.
But anyway, I was now on the normal response page, so I made a cuppa coffee, then posted my response again.

This time it worked & my response was posted, but it was a double post.

I don't post here on Guru often, is this a common glitch ?
(I wonder if it will happen to THIS post)...

This is an issue with Guru, though we have yet to figure out what. It seems to be the servers, but again, that hasn't been determined. Suffice to say, it isn't uncommon, and you are not alone.

it happens to me often... just contunue as normal and you're fine.

Tis been the norm for a while now. Just clean up after yourself(delete the double post) or leave it for a mod, and go on your way.

If you click once and that message appears just refresh the thread and your post should be there. If it double posted, just simply delete it.

usually when that happens it takes you to the advanced page---if you scroll down to the posts you may notice that your post is there (90% of the time)....otherwise as mrguildboi says refresh and it should be there---this will keep you from double posting (it does it to me every time I post so I have great experience with it :evil:)

There have been more than a few server issues as of late. Seems like some of them have been resolved though. Hope everything stays smooth for awhile.
