I currently have Factions and I want to play in UW/FoW, but I see very few parties in Zin Ku. I don't have Nightfall or Prophecies, and I've heard there are more people forming parties in ToA. Do people still form groups for UW/FoW in ToA?

a less sarcastic answer: thers plenty of people trying new builds there such as Ursan/ Oath shot.. how original

Theres a few "oldschool" builds like 5mangettoforgeandwipe and the original nuker/tank setups - get to forge and wipe.

For UW theres still the speed clears but with a mountain ele and FoC/SS for vale so thts worth doing if you have a necro.. Havn't been in a pug since the update so i don't know how it works/ how well it works

Sorry, but if you're not a necro/ele/sin or Me/A perma, you're no longer wanted/needed in UW speed clears. So because of that, most melee classes and even monks have to resort to FoW clears atm. Of course FoW doesn't produce as much ecto as UW so not many ppl care for it, hence the few amount of people still in ToA :/

Just pointing out that you can also get to FOW/UW from Zin Ku Corridor and Chantry of Secrets. Did you check to see if parties are forming in those locations?

theres nothing in zin :( i cant check chantry.

I have never joined a group to UW or FOW from Factions. Not in over 3 years of play.

Something about TOA being the original insertion point I guess for me that makes me auto zone there when a trip is required.

I would definetly recommend getting prophecies if you wanna have a chance since it's the busiest portal. And prophecies is cheap cheap cheap ! And a damn good game as well. Well worth the purchase.

I would recomend you to get prophecies, seriously, it is not that expensive.
If you cant, you might want to get into a guild to play there.
And there are people who form non-cookie-cutter teams for UW/FoW. You just have to look for them (yes, most of them dont know how to beat UW/FOW, but this is where the guild things comes in).
