so this is the general build ive been using for pvp:
[Bunny Thumper;OgETMXre1BAsUALzycNtZzIAA] varying slightly depending on which type of pvp i am doing. the main problem i have with it, and this is mostly in ra, is that there is no self-healing. with the attribute set-up it seems impossible to have any. i was just wondering if anyone uses a variation of this build with an added self-heal. i dont think its possible, but just wanted to check with you all.

Don't bother with self-healing in PvP.
Even RA, AB and FA.
It crams up your bar space. (Even 1 slot, every skill on your bar is crucial)

You don't have room for it, and it's not worth the dramatic decrease in damage output for it, really. No one is going to target you first, anyways.

Not really a self heal but i would bring the recently buffed antidote signet. It would counter alot of the meta condition builds.

i attack thumpers first all the time in the arenas b/c i know they dont have a heal, that and they can put a hurting on our monk if they get dazed on.

Try using Heal As One then just tweak the build a little bit.

I don't play thumper but I just looked through the skills, have you tryed [Companionship]? Its in Beast mastery which you already specced into. Just a thought.

Companionship is decent but the 2 second activation, conditional heal, and 10s recharge makes it tough to make good use on. Its not bad of course you just have to make sure you have less health than your pet.

you could try Heket's Rampage int heopen slot and switch the elite to Heal as One
Though now the build is slightly less efficent, but then (as mentioned above) adding any kind of self heal weakens the build.
Or
Predatory Bond in the open slot, but i doubt that will supply enough healing AND you can not keep it up at all times, though it is RA, so that little tad bit of heal could be enough to get a win.
Honestly though, take another attack or Antidote sig int he open spot and hope for a monk.

[predatory bond] and [companionship] are both really weak on a thumper bar.
Companionship takes too long to activate and bond is too expensive considering how hard it is to keep RaO up. Like Orange said put antidote signet in that empty slot, it will prevent more damage than those self heals ever would. But if you really want a self heal try a R/P beastmaster build with heal as one. They are fairly common in AB / RA and work decently....pretty boring spam though.

dont bother with RaO, its to expensive for what? 12 seconds? try heal as one or lose the beast mastery completely and pick up lightning reflexes and troll then a hammer elite of your choice.

[heal as one] is the only viable healing that works for a thumper. it doesnt take up a skill slot because it takes the place of comfort, and [tiger's fury] works fine for an IAS. also consider [run as one] with tiger's fury.
