Good Ranger farm spots?

I was wondering if anybody could tell me some good places/things for a ranger to farm solo or in a small group. I have acess to all the campaigns, and can get to all the areas except the end of prophecies.

please post the build used, and where/what it can be used to farm.

[Voodoo Rage]

A good Ranger farm is the Totem Axe farm in "The Falls". You can run all the way there from Ventari's Refuge (it looks like a long run but it just takes about 10 minutes). You can kill the Behemoths with a longbow and using lots of degen. It's not a huge money maker but it is kind of a fun and strategic run. You can read more info by searching PVXwiki.

Something that I used for a while was a [Melandru's Resilience] toucher.

Use a staff with extra energy.

You can vary the skills, of course, based on where/what you're farming. I used the build above to kill Vaettir's in NM for Glacial Stones. It's a slow but easy farm. It also works pretty well on the Wind Riders north-east of Seeker's Passage. There are about 30 that you can kill there, and in HM they patrol in groups of three or so. You just need to be very careful when you exit the town, since there is a devourer pop outside, and a scarab patrol. But once you get past them, it's pretty easy.

With [Offering of Blood] as the elite, this build works on the Wurms north of the Boreal Station. It's an easy way to get experience, and the loot isn't THAT bad.

As far as the points go, put enough in Wilderness Survival to get Melandru's Resilience to last more that its recharge, about 11 in Expertise (at 13 Expertise the touch skills are 7 en, if you are willing to use runes) and max out Blood magic.

I'm not 100% certain of the points, since I have several different rune sets, and it's been a while since I did this type of farm. And I also have the habit of overusing sup runes.

Rangers actually have a good variaty of farming spots, contrary to what people think...
Trapping is the all time favourite for Ranger farmers. you can trap in so many places that I wont list them all but know that you can also trap in elite areas like UW and DoA.
other options are:
Touch Ranger has come into PvE Farming and can do various Farms, from Elementals in Old Ascalon to the Gargoyles in Scoundrel's Rise(can be vanquished solo with it) and all the way to even the UW!
FoW Forest farm with R/E
Totem Axe farm as has been mentioned here
Green farming, wiki has some nice solo boss farms for Rangers
2/3 man Famine farming, works in a lot of areas
2/3 man Trappers, to speed up solo trapping

I just solo with the R/E Perm Obsidian Flesh for destroyers, Glacial Stones HM, Ice Imps HM and any other casters.

Nop Like there's a spot near rata sum with a few destroyers u can solo with any profession /rit

i do them Nm ofc with ranger.. with a help of a golem its ezpz

just spamming spirits and kill them 1 by 1 i can give u my template if u want

@malko - Get a Blood Knife (off hand) and a +5 energy weapon and that will tweak your toucher build some, trust me. Infact i have one laying around I don't use ifin ya what it.

I made alot of cash farming feathers, either Nuhpui Quater or Factions Noob island. Bought FoW within a months time or so.

Mmmhmm, the glacial stone one is mine by the way. Funny how that build appeared on wiki after I made that video eh? ;)

Wiki has little choice for Rangers, it only has the bare basic farming builds.

They don't even have any ones to UW smite farming, I can already think of 6 different Ranger builds for smite farming on the top of my head. :eek:

Nope, Rangers have their own build for Perm Obsidian Flesh. There has been a video of that exact build on YouTube for over 6 months now. :p

Yep that video sums it up pretty much takes a bit more timing than the standard obsidian ele tank but it works just fine. I can solo a lot of stuff that ele's can as perma ranger OF just I have to be far more careful with energy management and when to hit stormchaser etc.
