Other than B/P what is a good bow wielding ranger/pet build for PvE?

It depends on what you're facing. I switch up my skills for every area. When vanquishing in the southern snow areas I like to run Practiced Stance/Choking gas with dual shot to deal with mobs using Water Trident.

Sometimes I run broadhead arrow and never rampage alone (or any increased attack skill) so my pet Willie can go nuts interupting enemy casters. He's pro at KD's when I run beastial pounce, my guildies love it. Apply poison is one of the best skills in the game, for condition spread and pressure, but if you want to run a different prep take poison bite for your pet. I take a pet interupt or a pet skill that does bleeding or some kind of condition.

People forget there's a lot you can do with rangers other than barrage/splinter.
