because thumpers are hammer wielders, and rangers have a walk around with a bunny hop when wielding hammers, hence the name Bunny Thumpers.

Umm, mainly because it contains hammer skills *roll eyes*

You see, it's hard to use hammer skills with for example a sword :D

Hammer = Good DPShammer is better damage on a warrior, but it's the preasure us rangers are after. Nothing beats [rampage as one]+[hammer bash]++[crushing blow] in terms of sustainable caster preasure.

Hammer gives KD. KD = I_33t 0wn4g3. And "Rampage as One" = +33% attack speed. Hammer + RaO = kewl :p

Yes Murmel, I liked the build...but I was curently running another HAMMER build, I do like it and all. I just wanted to try something differrent.

No haven't... Haven't ever tried it ever. Why don't you try it in PvE :p

Edit: I don't have the skills to use it yet. I'm taking it slow on my ranger since I'm working on Legendary Survivor the "old school" way. And I only use my homemade builds, not pvxwiki builds.

BUT I would like to try something new, has anyone else experiemented, or liked any other weapon used? The scythe seems fun, but it does not have KD. So if anyone has anything constructive on another weapon, then thank you.

if it's PvE, feel free to try anything you want,
and for PvP you can run packhunter (bunny thumper w/ a spear) or drop the pet if you decide to run scythe.
But please, shoot yourself if you decide to run axe/sword/daggers

Theres a very overpowered Scthe build which is used in PvP atm, and I think it works for PvE. It involves using a scythe and [[Escape]. Give it a whirl, should be able to find it in wiki, the pvp build is called "Sway".

Bunny Thumper build relies alot on knocking down your opponents, which is best done with a hammer. No melee for rangers if you're going for survivor title.

Just lost my 930k ranger to some retarded Ruby Djinn Boss. Just buff up your health to the max and interrupt/spike/condition spam/splinter barrage or something. No melee...

Just stay away from Swords, Axes and Daggers. Only Spears, Scythes and Hammers have all found their way into Ranger bars with any degree of success.
