Never played a beast master before, but I can say that you should find a pet that you like and what you want to evolve it into (elder, dire, hearty)

I have a Black Moa right now - but you cant really "evolve" it into what you want sadly...

beast mastery is very fun to play with. If you have maxed deldrimore title that is.

12+1+3 beast mastery
9 Hammer mastery
9+1 Expertise
Survivor or Radiant or Mixed Armor

[brawling headbutt][low blow][ferocious strike][feral lunge][great dwarf weapon][call of protection][comfort animal][charm animal]
OgEUMTLfT8Qnimi6G3GricG0GbGA

this build i put togther for high damage and almost complete shutdown. Cast great dwarf weap on your pet always and just watch npcs to go down :)

Now, I see that you have skills for yourself..."Bunny Thumping" I believe its called.

My question to bunny thumping is that do you really generate a good amount of adrenaline to spam, or close to spam those 2 skills?

(Where can I grind some Deldrimor points?) I dont have a high rank yet at all so I probably cant get into a farming group yet...I dont know. lol)

Thanks Chemical - looks really fun.

Secret Lair of the Snowmen or Cathedral of Flames.

kole yeah that is the problem sometimes that those skills arent spammable. You can easily replace them with better skills, its just that i dont have alot of warrior skills for my ranger. However, this build works decently because it has high damage and if you stick a hero with something to buff your adrenaline then problem solved.

Are they both easy to find a PuG for? And do people look for like "Minimum deldrimor rank of 5" thing?

I klnow where CoF is, where is Secret Lair of the Snowmen?

Any skills might you recomend for replacing the adrenaline attacks? And do I need to use a hammer?

you dont need minimum rank of deldrimor for SLotS. You need to collect map pieces before you get to access that place. I cant remember what its called ( outpost ) but its where you find party for heriopath dungeons.

you dont need to use adrenaline skills.. for example if you wish you can use marksmanship and go volley ( with heal as one elite ) and interupt. This would give okay iterupt/ knockdown aswell.

Hmm, pretty much all I need to know...

This is open for more thoughts and updates on opinions and builds.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I will make a post dedicated to Beastmastery - I hope there isnt one already. lol

Fun Beast Master Builds here:

Fun stuff

Secret Lair of Snow man is easy with H/H in NM or HM with any build.

Do you have a specific favorite BM build yourself Orange?

One fun one is the Packhunter/Spear Ranger/Packer whatever you want to call it.

Yeah, My Favorite BM build was Nerfed ages ago, Loved that RaO THumper when NF first came out.

Follow that Link I posted and I have a build there I rather enjoy.

I don't really have a favorit now, because it's just plain fun to play so I change it around all the time. The great Dwarf Weapon thouhg and Never Rampage Alone should be stapled on there though.

I've always like the enraged lunge and marauder's shot.

[Marauder's Shot][enraged lunge][charm animal][comfort animal]

Then you take a pet buff with a nice long duration like otywhatever's cry, call of protection, call of haste or something like that. You'll use marauder's shot, then enraged lunge while all your non-attack skills are blacked out(it counts them as recharging) and your pet smacks the target for a crapload of damage(+80). Tiger's Fury or Bestial Fury can work to disable your non-attack skills too. Throw on Dshot, a res volley or another pet attack/buff.

I have a Black Moa right now - but you cant really "evolve" it into what you want sadly...

Forcing it into Dire is quite quick and easy to do , not sure if you can do that with any other evolution.

Wear no armour and equip any -health items you have.
Take a few hero's with only a res and self heal , set on avoid combat.
Agro'd a lvl5 Pet.
Let him kill you over and over while the hero's res you.
AFK until you get a Dire lvl 20 - about 30-40 mins

NRA or RaO with Spears and GDW on the Pet is quite a fun build to play.

Unfortunately, Black Moas are lvl 20 when you cap them, so there is no way to evolve them. They are always Elder.

Exactly - so now I need a new pet...lol

Thats "unfortunate" about the black moa.

Other than that, plenty of guides to dire levelling, if you dont like death levelling them then consider actually training them up.

Personal fave is Minos outside ice tooth cave, take a few skills like call of protection etc as previously suggested and feroucious strike or whatever its called for damage amongst other things, Rampage as one works well too (sunspear title track skill).
Once you've done a few levels on those move to the mergoyles outside Gates of Kryta and then switch to HM, can still be done easily as once your pet reaches them and engages they switch to killing him and not you but you can spam enough damage (feral lunge, predatory pounce etc) to still get Dire v.easily

I'd still say pets arent worth it in the long run though unfortunately, I did stick with mine for quite some time but im now much happier with the other builds im running and plenty of options there to keep me amused.
