I'm looking for feedback on the most efficient way to farm Glint's Challenge for Destroyer Cores as a RANGER

Right now I am just completing the mission with a full team of H/H on normal mode. Each run takes 20 or so minutes nets me 1-5 Cores plus one Cloth (which I sell for a few more cores). So total maybe 6-10 cores per run...

Is there a more efficient way? Does Hard Mode net more cores (or are the drops good enough to make it worth it)?

What about solo (as a RANGER) ... in either NM or HM ... is it more time-efficient?

TIA for your input.

Hard does not net more core drops i would try to lower your party ammount i dont know any solo ranger builds but if you coloud lower your party numbers you do get more chances of a drop because if you are 1 party member you get 1/8 chance of getting that drop but when you have 2 for example you have a 2/8 because the heros have a chance of stealing to.

Here is my analysis

Hard mode typically has more ennemies then Normal Mode. If you ever notice the placement of ennemies in missions and instances in Normal Mode, then do the same in Hard Mode, you will normally noticed a larger amount of groups.

Also, I think it (not 100%) that higher level ennemies have a higher (if not slightly) chance of a drop.

Destroyer Cores are Collector Items, which I believe are lootscaled, so typically lootscaled items see a preference for Hard mode.

As to doing a Solo Ranger...

The only Solo rangers I know of involve a Flatbow and either Degen a single target or a Flatbow and Splinter Weapon and then running away.

Or trapping a single area and lureing ennemies or a touch ranger

Just replace the Rt/R for a R/Rt...

Yes but thats a 3 man team isnt it? I think he is looking for a farming build with him alone.

I think with

serpent's quicknessvengeful was khanheivengeful weapon

Could probably work. There's a W/Rt version that uses the same concept, I guess with Ranger it might work since Vengeful was Khanhei will recharge faster due to Serpent's Quickness.

I just dont know what you would do for energy

Storm Chaser could be put up as a Stance after Serpent's Quickness, to regain some energy (many of the Destroyers are elementalists)

But even that isn't enough.
