Anyone have any ranger builds with an elite not hard to get and not much armor or weapon requirements? My rangers only lvl 11 so far and almost at blacktide den NF-not far yet.

Burning Arrow can be found right on Marga Coast. You need 14 marks and 14 expertise to run it properly though.
Or go over to Cantha and grab Broad Head Arrow in Vizunah Square (1st mission on mainland).
Enraged Lunge I think its at the explorable area after the 3rd or something mission, not that far and it outputs a huge amount of damage.

I'd recommend the classic PvE Ranger staples:
BarrageSavage ShotDistracting Shot, then Throw Dirt and/or a blocking stance like Whirling Defense for defense. Note that Throw Dirt can be useful in defending other party members (like the monk) from rushing melee attackers, while stances will only help you. Cap Barrage from Commander Kudeh during the quest The Great Escape, else you'll have to capture it near endgame or in some other campaign.

Fill the remaining skill slots with a resurrect skill and whatever else you need, like the two pet skills if you want to bring yours. If you can access Factions consider taking Ritualist as your secondary profession and using Splinter Weapon on yourself - with Barrage it can deal massive damage to clumped AI mobs. Don't bother with Troll Unguent unless you have some other reason to invest in Wilderness Survival; it's not worth a skill slot unless the monk fails hard, and not even the AI fails that hard, usually.

Oh, and someone in the party should probably have Favorable Winds if you're going to spam arrows all over the place.

Attributes:
Expertise: 8-14, depending on how often you like to spam Savage Shot.
Marksmanship: 12+

Equipment doesn't really make or break this build, you'll produce a distinctively average stream of damage and a considerable number of interrupts in any case. Generally, faster bows like Flatbows and Shortbows are better. Recurve Bows are also useful for interrupting. A bow with a Zealous mod may help with energy management.

ok you dont need 14 marks to run burning arrow appropriately you only need 10 marks to get 4s of burning which is good enough but yea you do need 14 or 13 expertise depending on your other skills. and since youre in nf just get ba its easy and one of the best skills for ranger now... other than that imo l2search plz
