farming the afflicted

hey guys, does any1 have a good build for farming the afflicted around the Shenzun Tunnels, NM or HM is fine, i mainly want the putrid cysts. 55's dont work because they have mesmers that remove enchantments so.. any ideas? thx

Yeah because VwK works against massive armour ignoring damage, huge degen, lots of enchantment removal, decent spam heal, insane ressurects... etc.

Your best bet is to just run into an afflicted heavy area with E/A Sliver Armour and use that. Or as above... just tag along with a mission and hoover up. Plenty of people leave Cysts or wouldn't mind donating them.

It always was, lol. The damage counter thing revealed it when they implemented it. But that doesn't make things any easier :p

hmmm... so there's no solo build? damn, gotta do a party farm then, slow and boring

Most Afflicted mobs have a necro with Order of Apostasy which makes enchantment farming near-impossible. However, Shadow Form can't be stripped by OoA so it is possible to farm using Shadow Form and Sliver Armor.

I used to farm bosses (Mesmer's, Monk's and Necromancer's Construct) with the E/A sliver build and once the boss dies, Sliver kills a whole load of Shiro'ken and Afflicted nearby. You've already earned the Morale Boost so you can re-apply all your skills and kill even more.

Other than that build, I'd imagine it's pretty difficult.

Maybe the E/A Nuker builds would work if you can group them up properly. a good place would be Shenzun tunnels since you should be able to lure them down the stair part. good luck.

/vote this idea.

Just do Vizunah Square and Sunjiang District missions with people.

If they're nice enough the people you help might even give you their Cysts etc after the mission :)
