Killing Varesh with a dervish.

Why am I having so much trouble? I cleared the game with my Canthan MM, so why is Varesh giving my D/R so much hell? I tried almost 2 dozen times now with team and hero/henchies.

Any advice, please?

Have you tried pulling back to the entrance after you kill the first incarnation? You do that, kill all the nearby spawns, then pull varesh towards you (this is where hench flags help.) This way you and your heros/hench can focus on her second incarnation without having to deal with the miscellaneous demon things.

I managed to pull it off, by running my Dervish as a pure tank (Mystic Tank XD yay for shameless plugs) and I had 4 hero monks, a para hero, a ranger TRAPPER :O and another paragon, we cleared the first form, then cleared the mobs in the back area then I solo tanked her second form while the Trapper periodically swooped in and degenerated and damaged her without breaking aggro, and the Human Paragon spouted chants and periodically struck her, it took some time, but we got the job done.

Armor of Sanctity + Conviction + Condition evoking enchantments + Signet of Pious Light.

I've gone through that mission a number of times helping out, and with the help of conditions and some monk backup, my Dervish character can withstand Varesh's 1st form onslaught. Half the time you are there to soak up damage while your players do the damage.
