Shatter Delusions: only with Mesmer hexes?

I run a Spike Leecher N/Me, and I was curious, does Shatter Delusions only break Mesmer-type hexes (aka, the purple ones) ? I make use of a lot of Necro hexes too, so it would be useful if it worked for both professions.

Works with mesmer hexes only.

Remove one Mesmer "Hex" from target foe, that foe takes 15-63 damage.
