Sometimes I would use edit to fix typo/mispelling/wrong sentence/misunderstanding etc. However, often I would get stuck with edit button and not be able to edit.

lol, and I thought this topic was stuck in lag, because I did lag during the moment of posting. I assume you saw the 2x post?
