i've been looking around for this item for a while but can't find it

where can i find it/what creature drops it ?

its a pretty rare (with henchies) drop from iron drakes, the fat alligator like monsters. theyre pretty scattered throughout the island, and theres no real place where there are alot of them.

I got mine rather quick when I started looking for it, thenagain I was level 16 at the time, and completed the preview, just doing the quests I missed.

Anyways, I left from Champion's Dawn, north to Plains of Jarin. Irontooth Drakes-thingies prefer water, and are found in the river running through the Plain. Got my chuck from second monster. I've seen them all across the tutorial island, in water.

There are 2 or 3 north of sunspear great hall in the water there.

There's loads in Mehtani Keys, just look around (a few groups of 3-4 maybe more at the very bottom-right).

ok got it dropped now, the drake's must have been bugged yesterday morning cause they didn't drop anything, and if i kill one now they allways drop something

I just killed a mess of Drakes, and I've been killing them for weeks and have not gotten one bit of drake flesh. This must be bugged.

BTW, I'm a launch-day veteran and I think NightFall is the best GW so far.

I killed a few solo and got few chunks, which I sold later for 1k. They're just like the Bleached Shells, if you solo them you got enough with henchies quite impossible.

The boss in the bog seems to drop it fairly regularly...

Good thing about haivng multiple chapters is I bring my lvl 20 warrior to farm the items I need w/o having to worry about bringing heroes or henches. With my Elonians I almost always feel the obligation to take them so they share in XP even if they take their drops. So I just farm what I need (for drakes and skales I just farm the entire river area. For Ibogas I just farm the area east of the sanctuary. For termites...well, they're almost all over the place.

Leave Champions Dawn north (Solo), after a few lvl 1 plants you get in an area with 2 draketooth monsters... TWice the chance of a chunk drop :D
