View Full Version : Stupid Flamingos

What am I not getting about this quest? If you know the quest, you know there is a field with about a dozen flamingos which you are supposed to "shoo" out of the field. Well they don't "shoo", the best you can do is block their path and hope they head off the field. Spent half an hour so far just getting 2 out. Whats the trick? Unlike the pig in Tyria clicking on them does nothing.

Yeah, I completed this quest with using /shoo. Was kind of funny. I love the flamingos :)

YES! I so was waiting for more quests like this.

Cash Crops was my favorite quest in Factions because all it required you to do was an emote. Hurray for emote quests!

i figured out the emote trick doing this with some guildies today. i felt SMRT. :D lol. love the emote quests.

actually, I tried /shoo, and it didn't work for me, I did it like the pig quest back in prophecies, you just have to chase them all far enough away that they don't wander back in. took a few minutes, but wasn't bad

Well you don't have to keep doing /shoo. I did it just once and then was able to chase them away. But they wouldn't run away from me at first until I did /shoo.
