Hello Lady L dress her mesmer!

Okay, as I finally draw close to getting the requirement for FoW, I have a little bit of a decision to make. Primarily, what character to get it for.

I've always considered my mesmer one of my favourite characters, and have gone out of the way to buy her lovely new clothes at every opportunity. That having been said, I have also deleted 15k armour several times when I found something prettier to move on to.

At the moment my mesmer is in possession of 3 types (or parts of types) of armour. She has Rogues (15k), Canthan 15k (+HP), and (one piece) of Enchanter's in the Kurzick 15k style.

The next set of armour I want to get her is the enchanter's, but the question really is, what style. Which is where the rest of you come it. I'm fairly indicisive. I like ALL mesmer clothes, but I believe that some of the styles don't always suit some mesmers.

I really like the 1.5 K kurzick. But if you like the Rouges look, then you might try the Luxon sets. Those have grown on me in recently.

Hold on, so you are thinking which FoW armor to get (as in for which char), or which style new armor to get for your Mesmer, or both? Mesmer FoW is excellent. Well worth it.

I really like 15k Rogue's dyed black, but the FoW mesmer set is just sooo awesome!!

Yes, I am thinking about getting my mesmer FoW. The very real question I was wondering was whether or not it would look GOOD on her, or whether perhaps I should find other armour to dress her in.

Lady L, to answer your very real question...YES. I believe your mesmer will look good in FoW armour. A mesmer's wardrobe should have a FoW outfit in there. My ranger is still cursing me for getting FoW armour for my mesmer instead of her.

FoW is great, but it MUST be dyed black.

Otherwise I personally prefer Rogue, although at present my mesmer carries Enchanters:

The luxon dresses are a bit too 'gypsy' for me.

like he said above, if your getting FOW it pretty much has to be dyed black, but i personally dont LOVE the Mesmer FOW, what i like is the Kurzick Mesmer 15k

I really love Mesmer FoW. IMO its the best FoW Armor in the game. In fact I even made a PvE Mesmer for the sole reason of getting this armor. :D

So for sure I'd get it for Mes and dye it black as most ppl mentioned. It looks really awesome, and its a very good choice. I also really like Necro FoW so someday Ill get that as well.

What are your other choices BTW? What other chars are you considering?

My other choices were my ritualist or my monk.
My main concern about ritualist is that it looks almost like vinyl, the way it moves and all :P Also, as much as I love my rit, I'm afraid that when Nightfall comes out, I won't even up playing her as much, making FoW basically a waste of money.
As for monk, well now that they have changed the way the tatts dye I'm not quite so interested.

I don't particularly want to dye FoW black, it is so boring, and everyone does it.

I'm not 100% fond of FoW for rangers or eles, or perhaps rather I think there are other NICER armours for them.

You can do it in silver or mix and match and find yourself a color you like. I've seen some pretty good non-black FoWs. But yea, Mes FoW is well worth it. Only concern I would have is that you dont know what new TYPES of armor they will introduce with Nightfall. AND as of this point you cannot change the type of your armor at a crafter... So... choose wisely.

FoW will be enchanter's I think. That's why I've held out on getting the full 15k Kurzick set, because I wasn't sure that I wanted it to be that all important +nrg set.
