What's involved in getting FOW armour?

I've been preparing my W/ for FOW farming im doing soon, but I want to know whats involved in getting the FOW armour, does it cost? Is it hard to get?

I believe it is 105 globs of ectoplasm and 105 shards(might be more if you get the helmet). Then I believe each one has it's own prequisites such as scales for dragon/wyvern/whatever it's called and steel for platemail etc.

for full warrior its 120 ectos, 120 shards, and the rest depends on what kind. like if u want glads it uses iron and hides... etc. and it could easily cost u about 1 million gold.

yeah. i would suggest farming for at least some of them and waiting untill the price goes down. i personally dont have FoW armor... yet... :)

Sounds expensive, im currently using Droks 1.5k armour, but I really wanna upgrade for some better farming, what else can I get.. and where?

Droks 1.5k armor is the highest armor level in the game. 15k and FoW armor just looks good. Its Anets way of taking money away from farmers.

well having expencive armor like 15k and droks makes the game more challenging, if it is weaker. so i still see a point in getting it, besides the fact that it looks cool.

The entire economy as far as value is based on rare skins... as for weapons and such. And of coarse, whether the stats are the same or not, I would rather have a badass looking character than something lame... and IMO, droks armors do look lame, no offense of coarse.... 15k is worth it just for looks, as for fissure... yea it looks nice... but its more for prestige..

they should make an ascended(15k) knights set. instead of ascalon which doesnt look all that much different from droks ascalon.

but yeah, i also think that 15k armor is just for looks. FoW is just for showing off :P

the reason i buy fow armor, got fow for monk and necro, is because its like a rare armor. not many players have fow armor. and indeed fow armor is in my oppinion the best looking armor in the game.
for my warrior i have 15k kurzic armor dyed silver. warrior fow armor the coolest and best looking armor for a warrior. then comes 15 kurzic. Now i want fow armor for my warrior. WHY, because many many players have 15k kurzic armor. so i want a other one.
my mission is to have fow armor on 6 chars (monk, necro, warrior, ele, ranger and maybe 1 for nightfall char, will take a long time, but it keeps GW fun.

search for armors, IMO i really like ascalon 15k, kurzick 15k, and luxon 15k, so i got em all (inventory is constatly full on my war T.T not to mention all the weapon junk..)

but yah, droks/kaineng center got all maxed armors, 15k ones just look better
