The Guild Wars Guru GvG Challenge 2008 is using ANet's mAT system,
which requires all players to be members of the guild, and 6 of them
have to have been in at least 2 weeks. What that means is you need to
be in the guild continuously from early this Saturday morning, 28 June,
until July 12th. If you switch guilds say after the mAT this Saturday,
you cannot count towards the 6 needing over 14 days.
So bottom line, by this Friday night you should be in the guild you plan to do the Guru Challenge in.
