Being able to snare a fleeing foe is absolutely critical in a Player vs. Player environment, and cripple is one of the best snares available, halving the victim's movement rate for several seconds. Primarily used to keep a focused opponent from running out of range, crippling an opponent can also be used to pin a Warrior who has extended past the range of his healers, or to separate from foes during an escape. |
